About this group

In this group, we will be reading Kindred by Octavia Butler — moving through the text together while exploring identity, power, survival, and intergenerational trauma through a therapeutic lens. We won't just read the story — we'll explore what it awakens in us.

  • Intergenerational and historical trauma

  • Weekly guided reading of Kindred with support provided
  • Facilitated discussion and reflection
  • Gentle body-based awareness practices

Black Women with PMOS (aka PCOS)

You're not alone — and you don't have to navigate PMOS in silence.

About this group

Invisible Cysterhood is a 10-week virtual counseling group created for Black women experiencing Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), now known as Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS). This is a space for real conversations, emotional healing, and building tools to support your mental and physical well-being.

What you'll gain

  • Support for anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
  • Tools for coping, regulation, and self-care
  • Healing around body image and stigma
  • Skills to navigate healthcare and advocate for yourself
  • Connection with Black women who understand

Who this is for

Black women (18+) diagnosed with or experiencing symptoms of PMOS who are ready to invest in their healing and wellness.
